I’m on the lookout for writers who don’t mind sharing the first 300 words of their unpublished novel manuscripts for editorial feedback. This feedback will be public and posted here and promoted on social media.

I will provide short editorial feedback on what’s working and what could be improved in those important opening words. This is where you hook an agent, editor or future reader, and many writers have a hard time nailing this.

First page surgery will act as a resource not only for the submitting writer but also as a one that can be shared with other writers struggling with their first pages and hooks.
